At IPTA, we’re proud to support the U.S. Air Force A1 Digital Transformation Activity (A1 DTA), the organization responsible for modernizing personnel, benefits, and career systems across the United States Air Force (USAF). The A1 organization oversees systems covering the full spectrum of human capital management from manpower and assignments to promotions, benefits, education, and much more. Our work with A1 DTA enables these missions by implementing policy and maintaining systems that streamline processes, strengthen security postures, maximize efficiencies and improve the overall user experience for every Airman, Guardian, Reservist, Guardsman, retiree, civilian employee, and contractor.
IPTA is a trusted USAF partner, advancing the mission to:
Strengthen Warfighter Readiness Through HR/Personnel Systems: IPTA sustains and secures mission-enabling systems such as Talent Management Customer Relationship Manager (TMCRM), Talent Management Information System (TMIS), Public Web Apps (PWA), Mortuary Operations Management System (MOMS), E-Testing, and Talent Management Data Environment (TMDE), which support cybersecurity, testing, and maintenance operations. These systems directly impact warfighter readiness and ensure Airmen have the resources, certifications, and tools they need to succeed.
Protect Sensitive Data and Guardian’s Personally Identifiable Information (PII): Information security is paramount in the defense environment. IPTA safeguards sensitive personal and career data through platforms such as Okta and our Continuous Monitoring capabilities. Our cybersecurity and Impact Level (IL) 2 – 6 accreditation ensures that every Guardian’s PII is protected wherever and whenever it’s accessed.
Deliver Secure and Reliable Infrastructure: We maintain and secure the A1 Virtual Data Center (A1 VDC) and cloud environments that host the Air Force’s human resource systems. This critical backend environment ensures 24/7 secured reliability, so personnel systems are available when Guardians and their families need them most.
Enable Career Growth and Development: We help sustain and secure platforms such as MyVector, which allows Airmen to plan their careers, find mentors, and track developmental milestones. By supporting these systems, we make it easier for Service Members to map their career paths and connect with leaders who can guide them to attaining greater career achievements within the Federal government defense sector.
Support Promotions, Evaluations, and Awards: Our support for A1 personnel systems ensures fairness, transparency, and timeliness of promotion boards, evaluations, and award processes. We maintain, secure, and enable the technologies behind these life-changing milestones — allowing Airmen and Cadets to trust that their hard work is incentivized, recognized, and rewarded.
Enable Education and Training Opportunities: By supporting systems that manage tuition assistance, certifications, and training records, we empower Airmen and Cadets to pursue higher education and professional credentials. Our automation and data management improvements reduce administrative friction and help Service Members focus on learning and advancement which translate into real skills — both in their current roles, and in the future.
Power Data-Driven Personnel Decisions: Our analytics and data integration work provide the Air Force with actionable insights into decision support, force management, retention, and talent development. These insights help leadership shape policies that improve quality of life and mission readiness across the force.
